Try Something New for 2022 at District Clay
Make a new year resolution to cultivate a new hobby at District Clay! District Clay opened in 2014 and has operated at its 2414 Douglas Street NE location in DC’s Langdon Park since moving to the 6,400-square-foot location in 2016.Open daily for art classes, District Clay offers children and adults alike pottery and ceramic classes, master class workshops, family fun events, and more. With private and semi-private workspaces, as well as an option for virtual classes, there are opportunities for everyone to grow in their clayworking skills.
District Clay offers 28 weekly classes, a resident artist program, regular intensives and workshops, a program to bring clay to underserved kids in the community, and even a ceramic gallery. Each class is led by helpful and kind staff, giving potters and designers time to improve each practice. Whether you’re learning a new skill or honing a previous claywork hobby, District Clay is just the way to learn something new, challenge yourself, and build community with other potters in 2022!
