An idyllic walk in the park is just what you need to really relax and take in the sights and sounds of the beautiful outdoors, and Georgetown Waterfront Park is a great place to do it! Located just in front and surrounding the Potomac river, this waterfront park is a place of true beauty and peace. The park is unique in that it contains a real life labyrinth, an enchanting fountain as well as greenery that stretches for miles.
The labyrinth is certainly a favorite for most park goers as it allows for an elevated state of relaxation and contemplation, as you weave through the path leading to different geometric designs. The fountain is a great place for thoughts as well though, located at the very center of the park and open for splashing around in to cool off on a hot summer day.
