Race for a Good Cause During Cupid’s Undie Run 2020
February temperatures can sit right around freezing, but that doesn’t stop the enthusiastic folks who participate in DC’s annual Cupid’s Undie Run. Scheduled for Saturday, February 8, this year’s run is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever. The run itself is pretty short: just a one-mile lap that begins and ends at Penn Social. Why so short? Well, because runners are encouraged to dress down and wear just their skivvies! Prefer to run fully dressed (especially in winter)? That’s welcome, too (outrageous costumes are encouraged).
The run itself starts at 2 pm, and only takes around 15 for everyone to finish, since it’s such a short route, but the fun goes on all afternoon. Doors open at noon and the party lasts until 4. What do runners do for the 3 hours and 45 minutes they’re not running? Dance, eat, drink, and generally make merry. Best of all, proceeds from the race are all donated to charity.
