Nab One of 17 Seats at Nocturne, a Newly Opened Cocktail Bar
You might not expect to stumble upon a chic urban bar tucked beneath a casual doughnut shop, but that’s exactly what you’ll find when you come to Nocturne. This cocktails-only bar encompasses a mere 17 seats, and if you’re lucky enough to snag one of them (reservations are recommended), you’ll get to taste the libations that the bartenders have been slinging sing opening day a few weeks ago.
The cocktail list changes almost daily to showcase new and inventive drinks, like the Bubblegum Crisis, which combines vodka, jackfruit, aloe, sake, and acids. The Duck Season marries sweet and savory flavors with ab lend of brandy, duck fat, cinque, orange, and vinegar. For some caffeine with a kick, order the Run, Tina, Run! It showcases coffee, anise, spicebrush, and horchata. Nocturne doesn’t have a full kitchen, but it does offer a few bar bites to complement the cocktails.
