Nightmare on M Street on October 28: Greet Halloween with a Drink in Hand
Just a few days before All Hallow’s Eve, the Nightmare on M Street comes rolling into DuPont Circle, the U Street corridor, and Gallery Place like an eerie fog. On Saturday, October 28th, bars around these DC neighborhoods promise festive drink and food specials, costume contests, and much more to anyone with a Nightmare on M Street wristband.
Your wristband ($95) entitles you to nine hours of pub crawling, from 3 p.m. to midnight, without a single cover charge paid. Bars like Gryphon, The Black Rooster, and Sudhouse DC will dole out drinks starting at $3 for domestic beers and $5 for cocktails using name-brand spirits. Many of these bars will only allow guests who have a wristband (although some might allow non-pub-crawlers in for a cover charge). And since Nightmare on M Street tends to sell out, there’s no time to waste in snagging your ticket. Then, on October 28th, don your spookiest costume, grab a few friends, and head out into the brisk DC night in search of some warming libations.
