Don’t Miss the 17th Street Festival on August 26
Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 26th for the annual 17th Street Festival. Visit your favorite restaurants and retailers along 17th Street in the Adams Morgan neighborhood, as well as about 100 other vendors, including art, jewelry, pottery, and crafts from over 50 artists.
During the festival, you can learn about non-profits, local businesses, and entrepreneurs in the area. The main stage will feature live bands, DJs, dance troupes, and other performances. Be sure to bring the little ones to enjoy the kid’s zone, which features a ball crawl, face painting, and moon bounce, and a pet’s zone. Some of the pets will also be available to adopt!
The 17th Street Festival takes place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is free to attend. Go to 17thstreetfestival.org to learn more about the vendors or to purchase a $10 festival pass for discounts on food and drinks at participating restaurants.
