For a true dose of local culture in the Washington D.C. area, make a point to visit the Atlas Intersections Festival. The festival runs daily from February 24th through March 5th at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in the H Street Corridor, just over a mile from Elevation at Washington Gateway apartments.
The annual festival is known for bringing together tons of local artists across all different platforms. The 2017 lineup is packed full of performances from visual artists, dancers, musicians, spoken word poets, and more. If you’re looking for something more exciting, there are even circus performers, photographers, sculptors and more. You can buy tickets for each individual event, so you only have to pay for what interests you.
